World Cup! Six days into it and the football fever is everywhere, national flags flying from houses and cars here in Portugal and the streets in sacred silence during any Portugal match until all hell breaks loose with cries from window and car hooters..."goaaaal!"
But this is an international school with students from about 40 nations, so who do you support? Is football your thing or do you just watch the 'biggest' games like I do? Who do you honestly predict to win the cup and why?
On a more serious note, since football is such a global activity, what social and political role do you think it plays in our world today? is it a vehicle for war or peace?
